Updating my original review here -- Christina responded to it and offered to replace the transition that fit so poorly with our floor. I contacted the Floors of Distinction office and we spoke, and Christina and her installer came out to view the transition. They ordered a new one and installed it free of cost. The new transition is a lot better than the original one. Christina and her installer were professional and courteous throughout, and she checked in with me through phone messages throughout the replacement process.

So we are much happier now. Ideally, that replacement would have been done straight away when I brought the issue to FOD's attention at the end of 2019, but I certainly appreciate that it was done properly now.

I had an extremely positive experience working with Christina and all involved at Floors of Distiction. It can be an overwhelming process choosing carpet for a large area and not to mention a second coordinating carpet. Christina is truly an expert in this area and she helped guide me through the process so it wasn't quite so overwhelming. The carpenters could not have been better- they were professional and punctual and most importantly did amazing work- very meticulous! We are very happy with our new carpet!

We were able to get more flooring for our formal dining and living room. We had done our kitchen in 2015. Wanted same flooring. We are happy with product.

The experience was the "BEST" Christine was creative with her ideas, based on what I had in mind. All turned out beautifully - Just love the end result. Christine and Floors of Distinction are a "Class Act". Thank you!

We originally planned to replace our main level flooring, but found wonderful options at very affordable prices and ended up doing the upstairs as well at the same time. The team at Floors of Distinction were great, and the installers did a wonderful job and were super easy to work with. Love the new floors and would 100% recommend these guys for any projects.

This is the second major project I have done with Floors of Distinction in Maple Grove. Their product is top notch, workmanship great. Christina Burns makes doing the project fun. She is creative and knows exactly what will work best for her clients. I highly recommend Floors of Distinction.

From the beginning of this project to the end, the team at Floors of Distinction were awesome. The designer Billie was so helpful and knowledgeable about the best product to use. I have used Floors of Distinction before and already knew the quality of the craftsmanship of their Installer and once again he delivered an absolute perfect installation of the Kahrs wood floor system having to undercut wood paneling and a brick fireplace.

His work is flawless! I have dealt with many good craftsmen in the past but Richard stands at the top of the line. His attention to detail makes for a perfect job. Thanks again for the wonderful work from Floors of Distinction! If you are looking for great products, design and craftsmanship look no further! You won't be disappointed.

Had a great experience! We bought some beautiful natural maple hardwood flooring that exceeded our expectations! Worked with Colleen who was friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great selection and we did not feel pressured or hurried to make a decision.

We bought our house 2 years ago which was built and stuck in 1991. We knew that flooring would be a priority project. There were many pieces to the puzzle including carpeting, hardwood floors, luxury vinyl tile and custom stair work. We were referred to Floors of Distinction by a co-worker. We worked with the owner Bruce as well as Billie and Logan.

Along with a great selection of samples and creative design ideas, our entire project went very smoothly. Working with one store for our entire project from start to finish was great and incredibly convenient. No chasing around trying to coordinate products and installation. Speaking of installation, all of the installers were great! Very professional and made helpful suggestions along the way. We are extremely happy with how everything turned out.

Christina was very knowledgeable about a variety of flooring products and was extremely helpful with design ideas and color suggestions. The installer was friendly, prompt, efficient and left the area very clean. Customer service is excellent and the next time I need flooring I will go back to Floors of Distinction. I could not be happier with my experience!

We had such a wonderful experience with Floors of Distinction. We worked with Billie primarily on both the floors and countertops, then finished up with Christina. Both were very knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and let us set the pace. They also really listened to what we wanted, then helped us make the vision come true. Everyone there is professional and knows their job well-Richard did the installation and we loved it.

Price was fair and competitive as well. We looked around before choosing them but no other place could provide the high level of customer service. We are so pleased at the result of our first floor remodel and we recommend Floors of Distinction to everyone!

We contracted FOD to do our entire house. This included refinishing oak flooring on 2 levels, matching newer maple on one level to match the adjoining room, carpeting the basement and stairs & tiling 2 entry ways. We had considered hiring different places handle each area based on "cheaper" estimates. The added benefit of having a single project manager to handle all of these simultaneously, was well worth the extra few dollars to save us the headache of trying to manage all of this on our own.

We couldn't be happier with every single floor in our house. Each installer & re-finisher's attention to detail was fantastic, with the hardwood installer even fabricating beautiful custom wood transitions between the wood, tile & sliding doors, at no additional cost. When they discovered the old wood base shoe was installed with 2" nails that made it impossible to remove without busting it up, they sold me the new shoe at cost and allowed me to stain and varnish them to save money.

They perfectly matched the maple from the kitchen to the new maple in the adjoining dining room. It looks as though it was all installed at the same time. Dave, the project manager coordinated every part of the project so they were not working over each other yet, completed everything while we were away on vacation. Sarah, the designer, helped us pick out everything.

Both being IT people, we have no sense of design. She spent countless hours helping us break out of our traditional mindset to choose some amazing, fun carpet and tile patterns that really brought our spaces to life and provided a great contrast to the rest of the natural wood space. The basement carpet is the most plush, high quality carpet I have ever set foot on.

Everyone who takes one step on it raves about how soft and beautiful it is. We have since needed design advice on area rugs and she happily comes back out to look at the space to help us find something to match our slowly progressing decorating. I don't think I will ever work with another flooring company. Best design advice, products, selection, project management and impeccable service.

We consulted them for refinishing our hardwood floors and getting new carpet. We ended up only using them for the hardwood floor and wish we did carpet as we'll with them because their customer service was outstanding. When they had the floors done it wasn't perfect on the edges and they agreed with us and had them redone at no cost to us. They're perfect now and we're very happy with them.

My contractor for a basement renovation recommended this team as his best supplier for "flooring and advice" on his projects. I was originally going to install the floor they supplied myself, but after considering schedules I asked FoD to give me a price. They came in with a very fair installation cost and even got it scheduled in a couple of DAYS.

I was pleasantly surprised. Then, my contractor got a call from his tile installer 2 DAYS before the tiling date saying that the tile I chose for the laundry room was not longer available. Heather and Bruce at FoD was kind enough to find an in-stock tile that fit with the space and colors in ONE DAY. Saving my bacon once again. I can't say enough nice about this team.
