Engineered oak flooring is specially designed to provide maximum strength and durability. Each plank is constructed of a hardwood top layer, multi-plywood core and a supporting layer - which are bound together under extremely high pressure. Once installed, this results in a floor which has the appearance, sturdiness & longevity of a solid oak floor, yet has improved support from beneath, providing greater stability. This is particularly beneficial when used in conjunction with underfloor heating systems, or where a 'floating' floor installation is preferred.

Our budget special flooring is a quality rustic grade engineered Oak, at a budget price! We produce this in bulk and machine it to 14mm thick, widths of 125mm which still carries a 3mm solid Oak wear layer. It is then pre-finished in a Clear Oil, ready to lay. Ideal for rental properties or if you are simply on a budget, it offers fantastic value for money, whilst still being a durable Oak floor to be enjoyed for years to come. Wood is a naturally hydroscopic material and will always be prone to movement depending on climatic conditions.
