It might sound a bit over dramatic but I am head over heels in love with my new kitchen floor. Genuinely enamoured. The boards themselves are perfect, really gorgeous, and the quality of the fitting was faultless. Really professional, high quality, with some unexpected but spot on extra touches. The guys themselves were lovely and considerate and made the whole thing surprisingly painless. In short, I can't recommend The Wooden Floor Specialists highly enough. Must dash now - I've got a floor to gaze lovingly at.

We were very happy with the work done by Wooden Floor Specialists. Barry was very knowledgeable and easy to deal with on the quote and Alex and Jerome did a lovely job and were very nice to have around our house. They left it cleaner than when they started and we were surprised by how little noise and dust and disruption was involved. We would definitely recommend.

My parquet flooring was about 60 years old and looking it, so I called up to enquire Absolutely immaculate service from the initial enquiry through to billing Astrid on the phones is a gem for the business, very helpful, efficient and friendly Barry the owner obviously has a passion and enthusiasm for his work, he was very knowledgeable, professional and above all honest & upfront about the work that needed doing, the potential limitations and the overall cost Alex and his colleague (I think it was Jerome but I may have misheard it when he introduced himself, sorry!) turned up to do the work exactly when they were booked, were friendly, polite and helpful, even breaking down and reassembling my massive sofa, and they left the place looking utterly different, the re-sanding and oiling has made such a difference to my flat I thoroughly recommend Barry and his team

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Wooden Floor Specialists. From start to finish I've had nothing but a positive experience with them. Barry's quote was very competitive and they were able to fit me in very quickly. Jerome & Alex did a fantastic job stripping & varnishing my kitchen floor which looks amazing now. They also helped move my furniture which was really appreciated as I live alone. They were on-time and tidy. Everyone I dealt with was so helpful and friendly. If you're looking to get floors stripped & varnished - definitely get these guys!

Stunning result We couldn't be happier with Barry's team and our new herringbone parquet. The installers were quick, professional, and friendly. Barry himself popped over to check progress in the evening and we had a friendly follow up call a week or so later to check everything was in order. We're so glad we invested in a proper floor to complement the original floor throughout the rest of the house. Very happy indeed, and would recommend without reservation.
