With the event of all the recent TV and DIY make over programs, floor sanding is shown as a very quick and simple job. Usually you will see someone with a DIY floor sander walking up and down, and in the next shot the floor is all nice and shiny. Just like that! In real life, floor sanding is a very skilled and is sometimes a laboriously long job, particularly if trying to remove old black varnish which has been on floorboards for 80 to a 100 years?Wood blocks, and fine "parquet" need to be treated with a lot of respect, after lasting hundreds of years in some cases, the last thing you need is an amateur DIY person walking up and down with a hire machine with a course paper on it.

We were very pleased with the Karndean floor fitting that Ron and Greg did for us in 2 bedrooms. Their expertise and many years of experience really showed and they provided excellent advise to us. From the fitting appointment to completion everything was very timely and done on the days and times that were agreed. We are very happy with the overall job and they were also so tidy and cleaned up everything after each day. Would highly recommend Floorwork.

Floorwork provided an excellent and high quality service when supplying and installing our oak flooring. They were very tidy throughout the contract, started on time and completed before the deadline given. I would not hesitate in recommending them and providing chocolate biscuits seemed to do the trick!

Floorwork laid a LVT floor for us in our newly renovated kitchen. They did a fantastic job - worked quickly and were extremely tidy - apart from the new floor we wouldn't have known they were there. All rubbish was removed and the floor swept clean etc. Greg & Ron were both friendly and helpful and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.
