Services
Wood Flooring
We specialise in solid and engineered wood flooring installations, offering traditional parquet, mosaic, and contemporary engineered options. Our expertise ensures proper acclimatisation and installation techniques to prevent warping or gaps. Clients benefit from durable, aesthetically pleasing floors that increase property value while maintaining natural warmth and character.
Floor Sanding
Professional wooden floor sanding and restoration services using dustless machinery. We revitalise damaged or tired floors through multi-stage sanding processes and appropriate sealant application. This extends floor lifespan while preserving historical integrity in older properties and enhancing modern spaces with smooth, polished finishes.
Karndean Flooring
Luxury vinyl tile installations that replicate natural materials at lower costs. Our Karndean solutions offer water-resistant, low-maintenance flooring suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, and high-traffic commercial areas. We ensure precise fitting with bevelled edges and appropriate wear layers for durability in both domestic and business environments.
Underfloor Insulation
Specialist wooden floor insulation services that reduce heat loss and draughts while improving energy efficiency. We install insulation beneath suspended floors to enhance comfort and lower heating bills without compromising structural integrity. This service particularly benefits older properties with traditional floor constructions.
Carpets
Supply and installation of British-made carpets from premium brands like Cormar and Victoria. We offer wool, synthetic, and natural fibre options with appropriate underlay selection to maximise comfort and longevity. Report
We were very pleased with the Karndean floor fitting that Ron and Greg did for us in 2 bedrooms. Their expertise and many years of experience really showed and they provided excellent advise to us. From the fitting appointment to completion everything was very timely and done on the days and times that were agreed. We are very happy with the overall job and they were also so tidy and cleaned up everything after each day. Would highly recommend Floorwork.

Floorwork provided an excellent and high quality service when supplying and installing our oak flooring. They were very tidy throughout the contract, started on time and completed before the deadline given. I would not hesitate in recommending them and providing chocolate biscuits seemed to do the trick!
