Eco Hardwood Briquettes

Burning briquettes are an eco-friendly fuel for wood burners and stoves. Long-burning and clean, with a pleasant smell, they make an easy and sustainable alternative to conventional fuels. At Wittswood, we make our hardwood briquettes from the off-cuts and sawdust left over from the production of our floors and accessories, meaning every piece of wood which comes into our factory is used completely!

The product was primed and top coated (twice) before being hung. It was trimmed at the bottom to fit the frame. It was hung for 3 days and after one rainfall resulted in severe bowing and cracks at the top of the door. One night of rain should not have had such a detrimental effect. Two carpenters on site for my building work said it was badly made. Wittwood admitted straight away to an error of not having dowels inserted.
They agreed to provide a replacement but asked for the faulty product to be returned Once they had received the faulty product they quickly back tracked on admission and refused replacement. They said they had fixed the door and it had straightened itself. It hadn't! Consistently rude, ignored emails and 6 months after the order I am still without a product to use.
