I picked Polished Floors from Amtico's website, wanting to use one of their recommended suppliers, from meeting Mark in the shop to the finished floor, every question was answered and I felt confident they knew what was needed. I can't praise Steve who fitted the floors (most of downstairs floors and landing) enough. It wasn't an easy job, most floor was very uneven and took some levelling up. Mark's estimate of the time was spot on and it was a a pleasure to have Steve in my house. I felt very comfortable leaving him in the house when I needed to walk the dog (and he fussed him). I would recommended Polished floors to anyone and especially Steve's craftsmanship. Thank you

From the moment we visited the shop we knew we had come to the right place for excellent customer service and a great range of excellent products. Everyone was so professional and kept us informed from placing order to arranging the fitting. Steve was fabulous arriving on time, tidying up as he went and his attention to detail in the fitting was exceptional. So pleased with everything. Thank you all. Highly recommended you won't be disappointed using The Polished Floor Company.

I had Amtico floors fitted and what an excellent job Steve did. He is a true professional, highly skilled and dedicated, in fact I have never come across a more hard working and diligent tradesman. He arrived on time every day and cleaned up when he had finished.

Excellent local company. As somone who works for a local small company I always try and support others whenever possible. To start with we met Adam, who was on time and very professional. He measured up and sent over a quote on time. We ordered a Karndean Classic Oak floor and a new carpet from them and waited for fitting. First the Karndean went down. It was a 6 day job, including removal of an old cork floor, tiles, laminate and carpet.

The floor needed screeding and a DPM putting down. Our fitter was permanent employeed (not contracted) Steve. An excellent guy, very friendly and very efficient. He did an amazing job (see the photos), its only been down a few weeks and we have already had a number of people asked who fitted it as they were so impressed with the job. Second we had the carpet fitted to our lounge, stairs and landing (contracted out fitters, but still good). The fitters did an efficient job and tidied up well when they left. We can't recommend Polished Flooring enough. Adam and Steve were excellent and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We recently had Amtico fitted in our hallway. We have been really impressed with the service and work carried out. We would definitely recommend to friends and family and keep them in mind should we do any further projects. Thank you. (Lottie & Jason)

Steve did a brilliant job at installing our new flooring. On time every day and really professional. Great experience. Would highly recommend.
