Luxury Vinyl Tiles
We specialise in luxury vinyl tile installations using premium brands like Amtico and Karndean. Our expert installers create custom patterns that enhance room aesthetics while ensuring durability. With 25-year guarantees and low-maintenance properties, these floors suit both domestic and commercial spaces. Our team helps clients select appropriate finishes and formats to match their interior design requirements.
Carpets
Our carpet services include supply and installation of stain-resistant and wool options. We offer expert guidance on selecting appropriate materials for high-traffic areas and provide measurement assistance. From deep pile bedroom carpets to durable wool options, our range combines comfort with practicality. We also offer advice on maintenance and cleaning solutions.
Engineered Wood
We install engineered wood flooring that combines natural aesthetics with enhanced stability. Our range includes pre-finished herringbone and classic oak designs suitable for underfloor heating systems. The layered construction provides greater resistance to temperature changes compared to solid wood. We offer expert advice on maintenance and cleaning requirements.
Floor Cleaning
Our professional cleaning service maintains hard flooring surfaces using commercial-grade equipment. We remove scuffs and stains while preserving floor integrity. The service includes advice on appropriate domestic cleaning products and techniques. Regular maintenance helps extend floor lifespan and maintain appearance.
Site Surveys
We provide comprehensive site surveys to assess subfloor conditions and determine preparation requirements. Our specialists evaluate concrete surfaces and recommend grinding or screeding as needed. Accurate measurements ensure proper material quantities and help prevent installation issues. This service forms the foundation for successful flooring projects.

We were very lucky to win the Bounty Competitions prize of 10,000 worth of Flooring and Furnishing from Design Floors and Furnishing. We had a fantastic time in the shop while spending our prize money with lots of beautiful items to choose from. Mike and his staff were extremely helpful from start to finish and were a pleasure to have working in our home. Many thanks for the excellent service.

We are so happy with our flooring we had laid from Design Floors & Furnishings. Jen and Mike were both so helpful & informative and made the whole experience so easy for us. Nothing is too much hassle for them and they worked with us to make sure we had the flooring laid in the timeframe we had. Couldnt recommend them more. Thanks again guys

I haven't used this company but one next to it. You may wonder why/ how can you write a review. This review is about the surly aggressive staff who bark objections to you parking in their bays (unmarked). This was my first visit to the industrial estate - I moved the car. I was at the site for 2.5 hours and guess what - not one person used their spaces during that time. Suggestion - try welcoming new visitors to your site, ask where/who they are looking for and politely ask that any vehicles are moved to the appropriate parking area when the visitor knows where they are going. Lest you are just a beardy bully.

Fantastic service from the team at MRD Design Floors, who have an huge range of flooring options to choose from. Mike went above and beyond to meet our needs, and was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Theres a good reason why he and his business have done so well and grown over the years, the quality of service you receive is second to none. I would never even consider using anyone else for flooring, thank you so much for all your help and problem solving!

Mike, Jacqui and the team have done a fantastic job with our lounge floor. From green 20 yr old carpet to a beautiful new wooden floor. Even when there was a supply issue with the wood, they sorted it out and all was fine in the end. Great job, thanks to you all.

Another great job by the MRD guys, finishing the Mezzanine floor off to match the wooden floor downstairs. Cant recommend these guys enough, worth the wait to get the finish we were after. Already planning the next floor to be tackled

We cant recommend this company highly enough. We needed ceramic tiles lifted from the whole of our downstairs. A huge and potentially dusty job. Mike has the staff and equipment to do the job with minimum mess. We then had Amtico flooring laid. The choice of colours & designs is amazing and Mike was extremely helpful giving advice when needed. The finished flooring looks great and we are so pleased with the finished effect. Thanks to all at MRD.

Very helpful and friendly team. Everything went very smoothly from first stepping into the showroom to final fitting. The quality of fitting is excellent, they worked quickly and efficiently and the guys couldn't have been more helpful with moving furniture and clearing up. They have a good selection of carpets across the price range. The price we paid was very reasonable for the quality of the carpet and we would not hesitate to use them again. More than happy to give them 5 stars.

How to buy your first ever carpets: We started out the hard way - new build house which needed flooring everywhere! Having never bought carpet before, I had no clue where to start. Mike's helpful advice has led to stunning flooring throughout our new house. Beautiful Karndean flooring; soft, deep carpets; and the most fantastic stripey stair! Leaving aside the actual product, Mike was available, accessible, reliable and extremely professional. I'm hoping I won't need to use MRD Flooring again in the very near future, but I wouldn't hesitate to do so. Highly recommended. Thank you very much

Very pleased with our new flooring which was a mixture of carpets, laminate and lino. All of which look fantastic. Thanks you to the whole team especially Jacqui as she helped me to choose everything and I was in the shop a lot! Love it all and will definitely use them again although hopefully not for a while.

I have recently had my bedroom, lounge and stairs carpeted by Mike and his crew. They also laid vinyl in my back hallway. What a first rate job they did and all the chaps cleaned up after themselves. You are a credit to your business. Well done, and I have recommended you to all my friends and work colleagues.

We needed our whole house done and chose MRD. My wife and I met with Michael who is extremely knowledgeable and full of good advice and design ideas. He and his team did top grade work on our renovation project and I'd highly recommend MRD to anyone needing new flooring. The fact that the guys are so busy is proof enough that their workmanship is much sought after. Genuinely nice guys and excellent finish to the workmanship.
